Our desire is for everyone at COTC to give and receive appropriate care and to experience rich lives of prayer within the arenas of Individual, Communal, and Corporate settings. Our pursuit of the presence of God is tangibly on display when we experience these things together.
Individual
CARE
We all experience seasons in life where counseling can play a vital role in our growth and healing. To request counseling referrals or to learn more about receiving assistance with your counselor fee, please email [email protected].
PRAYER
One of the core foundations of the Christian life as well as COTC’s first pursuit is the Presence of God. We think every Christian should engage in nearness with God through regular times of prayer. For a couple simple options, do an internet search for “prayer of examen” or check out our Formation Journals and COTC Dailies.
Communal
Care
The primary place to give and receive care at COTC is within the context of Community Groups. We recommend connecting with a Community Group to be known and to know others before the need arises. Based on availability, we host temporary groups for specific healing called Restore Small Groups.
Prayer
In our various groups, we strive for spiritually rich relationships, genuine connections, and a more compassionate/spiritually-healthy family of faith. We also have opportunities to receive prayer at the end of each service on Sundays. If you’re interested in joining the team, fill out our form at the “Community Groups & Teams” button below.
Corporate
Care
If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please reach out to our team at [email protected].
Prayer
All of our gatherings function with a reliance on prayer. From Sunday services to special events, we seek to model and participate in various forms of prayer. To engage in this practice more deeply, we highly encourage everyone to participate in our Nights of Prayer & Worship.
These are evenings where we can gather together in the presence of the Lord and experience the power of these spiritual disciplines. Prayer and worship are not only fundamental aspects of our faith but also serve as crucial ways through which we connect with the God. Throughout the Bible, we see numerous references to the significance of prayer and worship in growing our relationship with God.
As Psalm 100:2 proclaims, “Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” This verse captures the essence of worship, reminding us to approach God with hearts full of joy and gratitude, expressing our adoration through heartfelt praise. Through prayer, we communicate with our Creator, pouring out our hopes, fears, and desires, while seeking guidance and spiritual communion.
Together, let us dive deeper into the depths of prayer and lift our voices in worship. It will truly be a night of connection with our Heavenly Father.
Freedom Prayer
Freedom Prayer is a personal prayer ministry where individuals can schedule a focused prayer time with COTC’s Freedom Prayer team members. The main goal of this prayer ministry is to allow the Holy Spirit to identify and address things hindering a deeper personal relationship with God.
