Of all the relationships we have, the only type of relationship that can be universally experienced by everybody, regardless of the stage of life, is friendship. In fact, one’s friendships often serve as catalysts to strengthen other relationships in our lives (marriages, families, coworkers, community groups). Some friends are with us for a time, and for those who are lucky, find life-long friends. For whatever the time, season, or purpose, the most impactful friendships must be intentionally cultivated.
The people of God have the opportunity for radically transformative friendships, friendships that cannot be measured by any amount of likes or retweets. Kristi McLelland and some of her closest friends will be leading our “Friendship Workshop” as we uncover a shared, Biblical vision for the importance and transformative value of friendship.
“This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” -Jesus

The “Relationship Workshops” is a series of one-off events designed to dive into in the kind of relationships we each have. In a format that allows us to go beyond a Sunday talk, we aim to equip our church for understanding and faithful engagement in each of our relationships. Each event has its own signup, and you can select however many that you want to attend. We will explore a theologically grounded approach to each topic with a variety of learning styles including instruction, discussion, and practical experience.
